On my list to try! I recently ordered a “garden dog” at Portillo’s and halfway through, commented to my husband how delicious it was for vegan. Turns out I was eating the real hotdog he had ordered and he got my garden dog by mistake. Which he was not a fan of. 🥹
I love your hilarious story! I had told a colleague about Smart Dogs. She is not vegan or vegetarian, but she bought them. She hated them! She thinks I'm crazy for eating them. My favorite part is the mustard and bread anyway.
